many cultures – one community
Funded by the Country Arts Support Program this cross cultural partnership program has seen
local Koori organisation, Jamanee Gunya partner with the youthy to deliver this program.
The “Many Cultures – One Community” launch was held at the youthy which saw the inspirational art work murals designed by twelve young people under the guidance of local aboriginal artist, Noel Butler of Jamanee Gunya, displayed. Ulladulla High School Koori students not only created these murals depicting “who they are” but they also entertained us with a traditional dance performance.
These awesome murals will bring colour and art to the outside area of the youthy where they will be displayed.
